Using LI for More Efficient Insurance Premium Tax Jurisdiction Determination

Each year, many municipalities, fire and police districts change boundaries. These boundaries are the foundation for most premium tax districts. For carriers that are required to pay taxes on premiums written within certain states, maintaining current and correct information on tax districts is a significant challenge. This session will demonstrate how the Insurance Premium Tax module can be used to access the most up-to-date information on tax boundaries and automate the tax jurisdiction determination process.
